I have CompeGps on both a laptop and desktop. Today I decided to sync both because there are some flights missing from both databases. I found out that some of my flights have been saved as .icg in the backup track folder and others have been saved in the logbook with a .mdb extension. Also the track files seem to have the name of the date when the file was transferred to the computer rather than when the flight was made. This makes it extra difficult to find out whcih files relate to which flight.
What is the correct protocol for saving the flights so that each computer database will be the same ?
I usually only download my flights when there is not much memory left and I'm not very well organised so I'd appreciate anyones help on how to standardise my flight saving,
