    Predeterminado Start of TwoNav with parameters

    Hello everyone
    First of all I apologize for my bad English
    I am developing an app for Android that, among other things, it should start with one of my TwoNav GPS track and the corresponding map RMAP.
    I was able to launch TwoNav, but I do not know if this app supports the start parameters.
    These parameters should be the longitude and latitude of the center point of the track GPS.
    Someone can give me information about the existence of parameters (and which?) to start TwoNav?
    If it was an old DOS program I wrote something similar
    TwoNav.exe lg lt = 7.1234 = 45.5678
    or
    TwoNav.exe 7.1234,45.5678
    or similar statment.
    thanks in advance

    I don't know if you can do it with parameters, but you can do it modifying the file gps.ini before starting Twonav.

    Hi Marce67,
    i think that it's not possible that way.
    But it's possible to pass along the name/path to a so called CJT-profile file.
    Within this file you can define data like tracks, maps, waypoints and coords where the view is centered.

    for example:

    TwoNav_tablet [path]\My.cjt

    ====================
    My.cjt content:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?>
    <XCJT version="10">
    <maps>
    <file name="e:\Digitale_Karten\VMAPS\DACH12Q1.vmap" transp="255"/>
    </maps>
    <trks>
    <file name="f:\GPS_Tools\TwoNavTablet\TwoNavData\Deckste in.TRK"/>
    </trks>
    <wpts>
    <file name="F:\GPS_Tools\TwoNavTablet\TwoNavData\MyWaypo ints.wpt"/>
    </wpts>
    <view mode3D="0" Xangle="0.000" Zangle="0.000">
    <rect>
    <p1 x="7.95799875" y="51.91851043"/>
    <p2 x="7.96100807" y="51.92054748"/>
    </rect>
    <eye x="7.95950317" y="51.91953277" z="307.22015380"/>
    <center x="7.95950317" y="51.91953277" z="0.00000000"/>
    </view>
    </XCJT>

    "center" is the parameter which can be used to center the view.

    Note:
    only tested for Windows.

    Thank you, but I can not find this file "gps.ini" in my smartphone.
    In the SD card there is a folder (TwoNavData) with many subfolders but the file is not "gps.ini"
    "gps.ini" exists, however, in TwoNav for Windows, but I do not need this.

    As mentioned I would like to interact with TwoNav for Android, not with TwoNav for Window.
    The file CJT there is no SD card in my smartphone (or at least I do not seem to find; if it is located in root (alias C:\) it would be unattainable in reading and writing).

    The CJT file is a profile file that you can create by your own.
    This file open for you a map, a waypoint file/s and a track/route file/s as well.

    Have a look into the profile menu under CompeLand (PC) for more information...

    Hope it helps.

    That doesn't matter.
    If you are able to start Twonav using the application you developped for Android, you also should be able to start it with name+path of that CJT-profile file, too.
    AS you pass name+path to Twonav, at least it doesn't matter where the CJT-file is located for example in the Twonavdata-folder

    Thanks of your information.
    I used an very old version of CompeGPS for Windows PC and I was able to start the program with the map and the desired track. The file default.cjt with the old version contains the coordinates in Gauss-Boaga but this is not a problem.
    This is the old file :
    Código:
    VOID
    1
    F:\Track\Test_old.TRK
    0
    9
    363333
    4889386
    32T
    364610
    4889835
    32T
    0
    1
    F:\Maps\Piem_CTR.IMP
    VOID
    VOID
    0
    VOID
    0
    VOID
    0

    They are then passed to the smartphone Android by creating an XML file as indicated in post # 3.
    Here it is below

    Código:
    <? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8" standalone = "no">
    <XCJT version="10">
    <maps>
    file> name="\Maps\Piem.rmap"/>
    </ maps>
    <trks>
    file> name="\AVData\Tracks\Test 278.trk"/>
    </ trks>
    <view mode3D="0" Xangle="0.000" Zangle="0.000">
    <rect>
    <p1 x="7.271644" y="44.165912"/>
    <p2 x="7.311372" y="44.141767"/>
    </ rect>
    <Center x="7.29144" y="44.15340" z="0.00000000"/>
    </ view>
    </ XCJT>
    I saved this file with the name of default.cjt.

    I put the file in \TwoNavData but I did not get the desired result. TwoNav has started but not centered at the desired point and with the map and the trace test.
    The folders
    \Maps
    \AVData
    \TwoNavData
    really exist in the SD card of my smartphone.
    Maybe if I had a real example of a file cjt would be able to complete the project.
    Thank you again.

    1. default.cjt
    this filename is dedicated to Twonav. Every time you start Twonav and load any data, Twonav will create/update the content of that file. This file is used if Advanced setting "Reload data when restarting" is activated, to load automatically the last used data. So, don't use that name.

    2. location of default.cjt

    unfortunately i don't have Android device. On other devices usually "default.cjt" is created in \Twonav programfolder

    3. the code i posted is code copied from a real file

    4. open CJT-file
    it will not be opend automatically only because you place it in \Twonavdata or whereever. Either there is a way for the apllication you develop in Android calling Twonave.exe with parameter like "Twonave.exe \path to CJT\YOUR.CJT" or you have to use GUI -Main-menu>Data>Open-Dialog to browse to the file and open it.
