    Predeterminado Twonav saves laps wrong

    Hello,
    I was evaluating Twonav before buying a CompeGPS.
    The software is terrible, but the tombstone is that it makes a mess when saving tracks that were paused during recording.
    I tried all combinations of stopping, pausing, saving GPX and saving TRK, but in each case it invents a different of defect.

    Basically, there seems to be no way to save the track properly divided in laps: either the program artificially joins laps, or it appears to have divided them, but to a closer inspection it has created just one lap with a visual-only separation that has no corresponding lap and that is later impossible to divide in laps because.
    Just like Land often does, Compe software seems to take some evil satisfaction in messing up with tracks.

    I wonder if this also happens on the actual Compe Hardware, which probably does, so I will be unable to buy it.

    Anyone had the same experience and possibly worked it around?

    Thank you,
    Zava

    Hi,

    what is so terrible, that you aren't able to talk about..

    However,
    I usually don't use that function.
    Usually it is good to have an as exact as possible description of the method you use.
    Otherwise it is difficult for anyone to reproduce it(or not).
    If you provide it, i can give it a try

    Pausing tracklog doesn't create laps(segments).

    May be reading the manual e.g chapter 8.6.3 Lap Change can help you.

    There are three ways to create laps:

    => Automatic:
    1º) By distance
    2º) By time
    => Manually:
    3º) By manual action (button, for example)

    => Automatic: Menu->config->Autolaps->distance or time, as you want
    => Manually: First, disable automatic mode (see previous step), and now config a button or a icon to change lap.
    ---> Button: Menu->config->system->keys->Lap
    ---> Icon: Menu->config->full config->map page->toolbar->Lap
    Now, when you want to change lap, push the button or click on lap icon

    Hope it helps

    I addition there are more possibilities to set a lap.

    - mappage => bottom bar Tools contextual menu > Mark>Segment
    - Tripcontrol => bottom bar Tools contextual menu > Segment

    Just did a short test with my ANIMA and it seems to work.
