Predeterminado Labels in (mif/mid) or (shp/dbf/shx) format not show

    Hi CompeTeam and all friends,

The labels information not show in CompeGPS_LAND when (mif/mid) or (shp/dbf/shx) format data was imported. I test several cases, the sames appear. But the same data can be imported correctly in .mp (polish format), and labels show fine also.

I come from Beijing China, so I use MS Windows Chinese version(WinXP SP2 GB2312). At first, I suspect that chinese codes could not display in CompeGPS_land. But data in (.mp) format can show all words fine, include chinese and english words. I translate the data from .mp to mif/mid or shp/shx/dbf by GlobalMapper 8, then import mif/mid or shp/shx/dbf data in CompeGPS_LAND, then labels not show........And then, I creat a simple test file in mif/mid format by Mapinfo7 which contents only 3 points with english label. But labels not show as ever.....

So, it seems that Compegps has not import (.mid .dbf) attribute informations......Even though it sounds impossible.

Now, I am in crazy about it.......Someone help me!

    Thanks!

There are 3 pics from screen print. They are imported from the same MIF/MID files.

Now,I am sure that mif/mid and shp/shx/dbf format could not show label in CompeLAND. Thought it sounds impossible!!

I test on 3 computers in my office (Win2000/WinXP), the same happens.......

Is there anyone find the same question? or. Am I the only one in bad lucky ?

    Hi,friends.

I find that the problem is still exist in new version 6.6

The lable informations in mif/mid or shp format files is not show.I think it is a serious problem for users who compound maps with GIS data.

I look forward to the solution of the old problem.

    Thanks.
    Beacuse it's there... ...
