    Predeterminado Time problems with Aventura

    Hi,
I use my Aventura now since one week, and found 2 time problems.

    1) The first one is really disturbing for me, because I'm used to geotag my fotos with the exact location.
Before starting a tour I take a foto of the GPS-screen with the exact GPS time to know the timedifference between the GPS and my camera.
Unfortunately the Aventura only displays the time in minutes, but not the seconds.
Is there a display somewhere on the device, where the exact time in seconds is shown ?
    I did not find one.

    2) When the Aventura is turned on indoors, it has always wrong date and time.
It always starts with Jan 1st, 2003, 12h00.
The time and date is correct only after the first Satfix.
This does basically no harm, but one needs to get used to it.

Maybe thats the reason that it needs a long time to get a first fix when I turn it on in the garage, and drive out a few minutes later ?
In this case time to first fix is 2 to 3 minutes, sometimes even more.
When I turn it on under free sky the first fix is fast.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thx and regards, bp

    PS: I use firmware 2.0.0.3.

Yes, you are right. I guess this is no possible. I'll forward your suggestion to CompeTeam!

This is because the Aventura has not an internal battery for this. Anyway, I'll ask this too...

    Best regards...

    Thanks!
The first one is really important for me, and I think for others, too, to have an exact time display with seconds.
I believe, this can be easily implemented.

Maybe this is more difficult to implement.
For me it is not important to see the time when the unit is turned on and has no fix, it was just a remark.
    Don't know what others think.

This will be implemented on next releases...

For the other question I'm still waiting for answer...
