    freeday,

mpvf are binary compiled files, so I seems to me it would be difficult to edit them.

I also would like to know how to control zoom levels and map resolutions when creating a mpvf map, something like you can do with cgpsmapper when compiling img files for Garmin devices.

It seems Pascal is preparing some notes for helping us to make routable maps for the Aventura:

    http://forum.compegps.com/showpost.p...4&postcount=49

Hopefully he will also explain us how to control map levels.

And even how to merge compiled mpvf files in a container, like sendmap does with img files.

hi pepin - master of the vector universe

is there any tutorial or help file concerning the vector capabilities of CompeGPS Land (MPV and MPVF)?

Some (most?) of the new Adventura users are quite new to CompeGPS and its vector format.

    Regards
    Anton

    Hello Pepin!

    These are excellent news !!!

    • mpvf files in a container
    • zoom levels
    • type of lines (color, tickness)
    • convert routable Garmin .img-files
    • .....

I would prefer a video tutorial.
    Thank's for your feedback.
I nearly can't wait to look at the tutorial.

    Thank you pepin!

CompeGPS has the best support of all gps-companys (compared to garmin, magellan)
