Predeterminado Problem reading 32gb-cards on startup

Some maps are selected and the aventura is powered off.
There is an ERROR on starting the aventura.

Then you have to enable the maps manually and it works fine.
The aventura can read the map without any problems.

On the next startup there is the same again.

On using the same data with an smaller card (e.g. 8GB) - there is no problem.

It seems, that the aventura cannot read any 32GB-cards only during startup-procedure.

    i am using this card

the same problem with this card:

    Predeterminado Path check

Did you check the SD folder structure?
In the SD root it must be a folder named: TwoNavData

Inside TwoNavData folder, it should be next folders named:

    - Data: To traks, waypoints and routes
    - POI: To the POI wpt
    - Radar: To the speedcam wpts
    - Maps: To the maps

    Check the manual:

    <<2.3.3 Data Lists
By pressing on the DATA button on the main menu, you will be able to manage the available files on your device. This operation is carried out through the waypoints, routes, tracks and maps lists. The files to be taken into consideration on this lists will be the ones saved in the folders „TwoNavData/Maps‟ (for maps) and „TwoNavData/Data‟ (tracks, routes and waypoints).>>

If the problem remains, remove the next file:

    AventuraNandFlash/TwoNav/indexmaps.dat

It will reset the list of indexed maps

    as i already mentioned.

copying the files from the 32gb-sd to the 8gb-sd ---> and the 8gb-sd works fine
If the folder/file-structure was damaged, why does it work on a smaller card (after copy of all files fromthe 32gb-card)

also other guys had this problem with the 32gb - 16 gb works fine for him.

Which 32GB-cards are you using without any problems?

    Hello freeday,

    as i already mentioned.
Has you really delete the file AventuraNandFlash/TwoNav/indexmaps.dat. This is the internal map directory of Twonav and will rebuild after the erasing.

    The real name is /TwoNav/indexmap.dat

Deleting the file does NOT solve the problem

    Hi,
I can confirm I have the same problem, with the same SDHC card (Sandisk 32 GB).
Everything works fine with the original card, and with a Sandisk 16 GB card.
Maybe the problem is the 32 GB card.
    Cheers, bp

we have also another guy with a 32GB card in the german forum with problems
    http://www.naviboard.de/vb/showthrea...827#post305827

Currently there is NO person using a 32 GB Card which is working correctly.

16GB or 8GB seems to work fine.

Please could CompeGPS fix this bug - thank you.

The problem as described in #1 does NOT depend on the size of the SD-Card.
Currently I am using a 4 GB Sandisk Ultra II - and exactly the same problem occurs on startup of Aventura (Software Version 2.0.1).
After startup, the general usability of data is not affected.

    Kindest regards,
    ron

Edit: The SD Card mentioned is NOT an Ultra II, but an Extreme III (class 6), which once more seems to prove, that the speed class (6) is to blame for the error, while the size of the card does not matter.
