Predeterminado BETA 2.0.9.v - missing full screen option

    How to get full-screen-option?

There is still the compass-field which cannot be removed.

    Hello Pascal!

    >>you can't remove it right now...
sounds like that it might be able in a later version

not really... I really think that you are already able to see 95% of the screen right now

Hi, I have no problem with the amount of screen visible but I'm with freeday - full screen view would be better even if it is only a small gain. Programs such as OziExplorCe allow for full screen use. It's certainly good on smaller screen devices. Its possible to hide other screen menus/items - why not the compass bar? Suppose given the other identified issues it would be low on the list of "improvements" even if the request is given consideration. No big deal.

    Cheers
    Greg

The problem for the compass bar is, that it is a 2d-compass. (no 3D-compass)
Therefore i do not use it for low speed.
The automatic option show not always the correct direction.
Compared to a real compass there are sometimes huge differences.
(i know some positions with the exact north-direction for comparing)

But i think it is not possible to enable/disable it, otherwise it might be only a few program lines in the programing code.

Well I am quite sure in future versions we will have a 'full screen' mode (maybe with only the 'menu' button visible). Current 'almost-full-screen' is not bad, but when you are navigating also the 'next event' information (goto arrow...) is appearing, so not full screen at all.

    Hi,

    I hereby second Freeday's demand.
The compass bar should be made switchable on/off.
The display is not that big, that we could do without this extra space easily ... and the compass, being 2d only and therefore not being reliable unless the device is mounted strictly horizontal, is not that interesting, that I have to watch it all the time.
Full screen, however, is an absolute must for my eyes, whereas the compass bar is not.
    Kindest regards/Herzliche Grüße,
    ron

    Hi All,
on such small displays every Pixel is worth to think about.

    Therefore I second this request.

The greatest solution would be that, if one of the keys (e.g. menu) is depressed for a few seconds, then the display should switch to complete fullscreen with nothing else except the map (both in offroad AND onroad routing), and if depressed again for a few seconds, then switched back to the prior display mode.

This would be a very good enhancement for Twonav from my point of view, and as far as I know as a programmer, should also not being difficult to implement.

    Best regards, Herbert

Currently in 2.1.6 (Aventura) there is the compass always visible and cannot be hidden

In the landscape mode, there is no option to hide the data-bar and the compass.
--> less space for the map.

Is it planned to show only the map? This would be great! Thank you!
