    Lightbulb Sight 'N Go

    Hello.

I have a suggestion for future firmware updates:
It would be nice to have a "Sight 'N Go" feature at the TwoNav Sportiva.

    Regards,
    Chris

This has been already suggested... (by me)

Maybe this will be available on 2.2...

    How do you see it?
1- Navigate To > "Sight'n Go" > you enter distance and bearing in º

2- Navigate To > "Sight'n Go" > it asks you to choose the bearing with a compass window pointing the device, then the distance

    3- Something else?

Personnaly I feel the option 1- is easier to implement and also to use, but open to hear different opinion

I guess the best would be a mix of both...
For Sight'n Go function I would implement as:
Navigate to->Sight'n Go->Use the bearing with a compass window pointing the device, and then clic on the "ok" button on the screen. The distance would be to the "infinite"

For your first option, It would be implemented by projection a waypoint. I mean, It would be some thing like:
Menu->Data->waypoint->choose the waypoint you want to project->project waypoint->enter distance and bearing in º.

Once you have your projected waypoint, just Navigate->waypoint->projected waypoint...

Sounds to me very Garmin like....Carlos, try to open your chacra, forget what you have seen before and try to think about the best solution.

what would you think about this new option??

Menu->Navigate to->Sight'n Go->Pointing the device and click "ok"->now a data page will display your pointing bearing in º and a box for a distance (by default to the infinite). Now, You could edit the bearing and the distance by hand->then FINISH Button and GO...

A mix of both and a very quick mode to enter data...

Of course, It would be necessary a projection waypoint function as well

Just put a checkbox "Save as Waypoint" in the dialog.

Yep, this could be useful, but we need the projection function as well, because you maybe want to project a waypoint that is not the place you are...

i prefer: 2- Navigate To > "Sight'n Go" > it asks you to choose the bearing with a compass window pointing the device, then the distance

Pointing the device by a default distance value (default distance value can be entered in the settings-option)

But type 1 and 2 would be great!
