Predeterminado Paths/ details on Spanish Topo map

    Hello,

I recently received my TwoNav Sportiva and loaded the Spanish Topo maps on it. However, when I view the maps I see the contour lines and villages, but am missing a lot of details like paths, refugios etc. The mpas are also less detailed as e.g. the (paper) Editoriol Alpina maps from the same region.

Probably I misconfigured something. Can anyone tell me what can be the problem?

    Thanks,
    Dick.

You shall see the same Details like on http://www.ign.es/iberpix/visoriberpix/visorign.html (zooming in and switch on the 25 k map, switch ortho map of or turn transparency to 30%!)

The Editoriol Alpina is a hiking map, so find here more specific data for hikers.

    Hello Ray,

thanks for you reaction. I looked at the ign site and the 25k map, zooming in to Espot, my next holiday destination. The map is quite detailed and gives a lot of (unpaved) roads, campsites, refugios. Looks fine.

However,I don't see this on my Sportiva. Also, the village itself is displayed as a big yellow box without any details.
I tested the display for an area where I don't have the detailed maps and I get the same resolution.

So I am pretty sure that my Sportiva doesn't switch to the detailed map when I zoom in. Can I have made some error in the installation?

    Dick.

    Sorry, Dick

I don't own the topo spain of Compe.
I know just screenshots, which looks fine.

The best thing what you shall do is to open a ticket in the Compe support.

Finally found out what I did wrong. I had moved the files (from maps and maps\SPAIN_RTMAP) from the internal memory to the SD card, but didn't remove the map files from the maps directory. So the .imp file was existing on both locations.

When I removed the files from the internal memory, and after restarting the Sportiva, suddenly the maps zoomed in correctly.
