    Question navigation : quelle validation de WPT choisir ?

    Les differents modes de routage du sportiva ne sont pas clairs pour moi (suis-je le seul ??)
    (en suivi de route off-road)
    Voivi mes questions:
    1. que veut dire le mode "Bisecteur dans le WPT suivant" ?
      je ne comprend pas ce que c'est, ni dans quel cas utiliser ce mode ?
    2. quel mode choisir quand la route a une partie commune allé/retour mais qu'on est amené à "couper" une partie du circuit ?
      Dans la partie commune allé/retour, le mode "tous les WPT suivants" est "perdu" entre les WPT allé et les retours.
      Dans la partie coupée du circuit, le mode "WPT suivant" cherche un WPT où je ne passerai jamais.
      Quel est le meilleur mode de fonctionnement ?
      peut-on changer de mode de tracking en cours de routage ?
    3. quand on coupe une partie du parcours (raccourcis) le calcul du routage est-il remis a jours en fonction du WPT actuel ?
      (ex: si je racourcis 1/3 de mon parcours la "distance a l'arrivée" est-elle recalulée sur le WPT où je suis, ou en fonction de la distance deja parcourue ?

    sorry it's a mistake. This post is already in French side, but without any success, so I prefere to try in english side.

    All different navigation mode (tracking) of sportiva are no so clear for me.
    Am-I the only one ?
    Being in Off-road mode:
    1. What does it mean "cutting bisectrice in next WPT " ?
      and "cutting bissectrice in next WPT or coming in 10% of radius of a WPT"
      I don't understand what it is, how it work, in what case to use it (compare to other mode)
    2. What mode to select when a part of the track is common for go and return (used in both direction) but we may have to shortcut of the track.
      In common part go/return, the mode "all next WPT" is confusing betwen WPT go and returns.
      But after the short cut, when comming back to forecasted track, mode 'next WPT" is always looking for a WPT that I will never catch (in the cut)

      Finally what is the best mode for that ?
      Can we change mode during navigation ?
    3. When we short cut a part of the track, how is calculated the remaining distance ?
      calculation based on curent WPT (vs end of the track)
      or comparing distance done vs distance of the track ?
      (ex: if I shorter my track by 1/3, distance to final is re-calculated based on current WPT, or based on distance already covered)
    Difficult to explain in English. I hope to have some feedback.

    Both modes are thinking on paragliding sport. You have explain this on 4.8.7 section of the TwoNav manual.

    What mode to select

    In this case, the best are:
    - Radious of the NEXT waypoint
    - Manual mode (only bar buttons)

    Remember that this is only for WAYPOINTS (and Routes), and it is not working on tracks/roadbooks yet.
    Hopefully it will be available on 2.3.

    The distance are calculated by your remaining track (if you have activated, of course), and the goto arrow show you the tangent of this track (you can see this into menu->configuration->navigation->tracks

    Hope it helps...

    I have read the manual at 4.8.7 and 4.8.8, but I don't understand.
    (bissectrice is not clear for me also).
    May I suggest to have an explanation with maybe drawing for better understanding.

    A tutorial about navigation options could also be an idea, no ?

    It's no simple to me explain this in English. I have a PDF document where it comes very clear, but it is in Spanish...

    Maybe there is a similar document like this in English. Just search on orienteering webpages...

    P.S.: Why don't you have a ticket on support... They will answer this question for you...
