    Hi CpA

I found 6.85 and have succesfully updated. Still unable to open maps.
Perhaps I need to find a new map. Are there any free ones available like the previous NASA maps?

    Thank you TOny

Yes, you are right. Nasa's maps are not working. Could be a server problem, or maybe they have changed the URL of this service.

Have a ticket on support for this issue:

    Go to http://www.compegps.com/?lang=0en&opcion=3
scroll down, there you find Land 6.85.

When doe syou registerd your Land Version?
May you can upgrade for free to Land 7.1.1.
That you shall ask the Compe support.

But anyhow I would keep 6.8.5 installed, if you do the update to 7.1.1.

    Thank you Ray
I am using 6.85 CompeGPS Air PC.
I think you have to pay to upgrade to 7 and if I did I am still not certain that the maps would be available.

Surprise, Surprise I have now downloaded the trial version of 7.1.1 Air and the maps are working again.

All looks well except I have this slider bar I cannot get rid of that is called Campogps - contenedor (see attached photo) I believe it is spanish for container.
It also appears in the miniature map window.
How can I get rid of it as it does not appear to do anything?

    thank you
