Predeterminado Daylight Saving in Australia for the Aventura

My Aventura is not changing over to Daylight Saving Time. I'm located in Canberra, Australia. It does not seem to make any difference whether I tick the Settings/System/Time Zone/Auto Summer time: tick box - it still shows as being one hour behind (that is it is on Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or GMT +10hrs). The only fix seems to be to set the time zone as "(UTC+11:00) Magadan, Solomon Is, New Caledo...".

Is this a known bug with the Aventura? Is there a fix?

    Hi, Barry,

    1. which Twonavversion you are using, maybe first you should update to the actual
    2. I might remember that last daylight saving time switch my Sportiva needs an overnight time to realize the new setting.( So may be Aventura too needs some time)

    3. i'm not sure about Rays reply=> @Ray: did you verify this bug or not?

    Gert.
With 2. I can agree, it's the same behavior on the Aventura.
If it is solved with 2.4.2 we will see in 2 weeks.

3., that was a general information how to report bugs.

    Hi Guys

Yes I'm using version 2.4.2 update - which was updated prior to sending original post - and it still shows the wrong time.

It doesn't matter whether I wait overnight - it is still showing the wrong time. this is also happening for other Aventura users in Australia. I know this from our local forum.

This is pretty basic stuff for a top of the line GPS. It should show the right time for the correct region. I appreciate that daylight saving periods can change in certain regions and Australia is a long way away but I feel that this is something that should be fixed.

I'm happy to provide the details of daylight savings times for each region in Australia if CompeGPS require.
